Cipmox 250mg
Cipmox 250mg contains active ingredients Amoxycillin. It is prescribed to treat certain infection esp. bacterial infection. This medication is penicillin like antibiotic and works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria. Cipmox is better absorbed, following oral administration better than other antibiotics. Sometimes it is prescribed for treating cystic acne.
What is Cipmox 250mg used for?
Cipmox 250mg contains Amoxicillin and it belongs to a class of antibiotic drugs called penicillin. Amoxicillin is used to treat bacterial infections in bronchitis, pneumonia, genital and gonorrhoea, skin and soft tissue. It s also prescribed to treat ENT infections in ear (otitis media); nose, sinus, and throat (tonsillitis, sinusitis). Physician used Cipmox 500mg also for heart (endocarditis), kidney, urethra or bladder, blood (septicemia), teeth and gums (abcesses), typhoid and paratyphoid fever occurs because of bacterial infection.
How does Cipmox 250mg work?
Cipmox 250mg consist of Amoxicillin. It is susceptive to degradation by β-lactamase-producing bacteria, and so may be given with clavulanic acid to decrease its susceptibility.
