Clofert 50 mg
Clofert 50 mg is used in the treatment of female fertility. It contains the active component clomiphene citrate, which belongs to a class of medications known as ovulation stimulators. It supports ovulation (release of matured eggs from the ovaries in women whose ovaries do not release eggs in women undergoing fertility therapy). Clomiphene is most effective in women with polycystic ovary syndrome.
How to use
Clofert 50 mg can be taken before or after consuming food. Do not take more than the recommended dose. Carefully follow all the instructions given by your doctor about the dose and length of treatment. Clofert is a tablet you can swallow with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush the tablet with a glass full of water.
Precautions
Clofert 50 mg is not recommended if you are allergic to clomiphene citrate. It is not suitable for women who have early menopause. Before taking Clofert 50 mg, inform your doctor if you develop any problems in your liver and kidney. You must also inform your doctor if you have unexplained vaginal bleeding, high blood fat levels, fits, cysts in the ovaries, or cancer in the breast, ovaries, or uterus as a precaution. Women should not use clomiphene tablets after successful conception. It is also contraindicated in breastfeeding women, children, and adolescents (below 18 years). The medicine should be taken with caution in patients with hyperlipidemia (excess of fats in the bloodstream), fibroids (non-cancer muscular growth) in your womb, hormone-dependent cancer, or have a history of fits in the past. Patients should be advised that blurring or other visual issues, such as spots or flashes, may occasionally occur during clomid therapy.
Side effects of Clofert 50mg
Clofert 50 mg has common side effects such as breakthrough bleeding, lower stomach pain, painful periods, increased blood fat levels or spotting, flushing, headache, breast pain, or tenderness. These side effects usually subside within a few days. However, if they persist or worsen, discuss with your doctor for further assistance.
