Rivaflo Tablet 20mg
Rivaflo tablet 20 mg tablets are used to prevent the formation of blood clots due to a certain irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation) or after hip or knee replacement surgery. It may also be given to prevent the formation of blood clots in high-risk patients with limited mobility during their hospital stay and after discharge.
In addition, Rivaflo is used to treat blood clots in the veins of the lungs and legs as well as to prevent the blood clots from forming again. This medicine may be used in children to prevent blood clots from forming after certain heart surgery. The medicine contains the active ingredient Rivaroxaban, an anticoagulant that blocks certain clotting proteins in your blood.
How to use
If you take Rivaflo 20 mg to prevent strokes and blood clots that may form due to an irregular heartbeat, the dose is usually taken once daily with the evening meal. Suppose you are taking this drug to prevent blood clots due to other conditions, such as after knee or hip replacement surgery, during a hospital stay, and after discharge). In that case, the recommended dose is usually one tablet a day. For adults taking Rivaroxaban to treat blood clots, the dosage is usually taken twice a day for the initial three weeks and then once daily.
The recommended dose for children taking Rivaflo to treat blood clots is one tablet daily with a lower dose. It is always best to get the dosage prescribed by a doctor to avoid any unwanted side effects.
Precautions
Before taking Rivaflo, let your doctor know if you are allergic to Rivaroxaban or have any other allergies. Side effects
