Siromus 1mg
Siromus contains the active ingredient sirolimus, which displays a mechanism of immunosuppressive action. It is usually given for the prevention of organ rejection in adult patients receiving a kidney transplant. Initially, it may be used in combination with ciclosporin and corticosteroids for 2 to 3 months. Your doctor may ask you to continue corticosteroids as a maintenance therapy only if ciclosporin microemulsion can be progressively discontinued. Sirolimus lowers the body’s immunity and thus prevents rejection and helps accept the new organ in your body. The medicine is not recommended for a lung or liver transplant; it is also not used in children under 13 years of age. Do not take an overdose, and it may cause serious effects.
