Volibo R 0.2/1mg tablet is the combination of two medicines, namely Repaglinide and Voglibose, for treating type 2 diabetes mellitus. The medicine works best when followed with diet, exercise, and weight loss alone have not been able to control our blood sugar.
Type 2 diabetes is a health condition when your pancreas does not make enough insulin to control the sugar available in the blood or where your body does not normally respond to the insulin it produces. How to Use Volibo R 0.2/1mg tablet?
The recommended starting dose is 0.2/1mg after a meal. Do not stop taking medication as it may put you at risk of serious complications like kidney damage and blindness. Do not chew or break it; swallow the pill with a glass of water. Do not stop taking medicine; your blood sugar may increase and put you at risk of serious complications like kidney damage and blindness if you stop the treatment. Consult with your doctor before doing so. If you take too many tablets, you may have low blood glucose, leading to a hypoglycaemic condition. What are the Warning/Precautions?
Volibo R is not recommended in patients with moderate liver disease. Repaglinide should not be consumed if you have severe liver disease. If you have kidney problems, the medicine should be used with caution. In case you have major surgery or have recently suffered a severe illness, an infection, or had an injury. During the times, diabetic control may be lost. The antidiabetic agent is not recommended if you are under 18 or above 75 years of age. Take Volibo R 1 Mg even if you feel well or control your blood sugar level.
What are the Side effects of Volibo R 0.2/1Mg?
